mentally ill, strong will
Our site is made so that people with mental illness can find support in others. Often we find comfort in hearing we are not alone and listening to other stories. This site offers just that. On this site you can submit personal stories that will be published on here for everyone to see. You can also write in for advice or someone to talk to. We are always open to listening and offering our opinions and advice. If you want to know more about who we are, you can check out our personal story pages. We try our very best to have all questions about who we are and our stories in our videos. Check for regular updates.

Anonymous asked: Lately I've grown more aggravated towards myself: I keep beating myself in the head and "cat-scratching" (which then leads to 'not deep enough' thoughts, which results in more scratches), and I have to keep fighting suicidal thoughts that have multiplied. I'm used to the thoughts (just not this frequently), I just wanted to know if you had any ideas how I can control the urges? I don't want my resolve to slip..

Sometimes the best thing to do when you are feeling negative towards yourself or like self harming is to distract yourself. This will help for the time being. Often things like art, ready, going for a walk, going to a movie, going out with a friend for coffee, watching a funny show, journaling are all things that will take your mind off of it.

Talking about wanting to hurt yourself might not be the best thing as it keeps your mind thinking about it so the best advice I can give you is to do something else that may be helpful and distracting.

However this is a not a solution for the problem. If you feel it is getting bad and interfearing with your life and mood than you should seek some professional help. That could just be a therapest for you to talk to and find better ways to manage the overwhelming feelings.

I hope this helps if you need anything else please feel free to talk to me. Kenna and I are always willing to have a conversation off anon and keep it private. Whatever you may need

Stay strong.
